ELAC – “Quick Access”

         

Concept

This is an automated response system that enables clients of ELAC access some personal details on their policies through short messaging service (sms) on their mobile phones 24 hours 7 days a week.

1.       Go into the txt messaging mode of your phone

      

                                                               i.      For information  on your policy payments text without spaces:

                                               Policy number*payments to short code 1975

                                               (e.g. GH1V0000141*Payments)

      

                                                             ii.      To check if your policy is active text without spaces:

                                        

                                         Policy number*status to short code 1975

                                          (e.g. GH1V0000141*status)

      

                                                          iii.      For information in your current beneficiaries, text:

      

                                               Policy number*beneficiary to short code 1975

                                               (e.g. GH1V000141*beneficiary)

      

                                                          iv.      To find out what your policy number is. Text:

      

                                               Your date of birth in this format (ddmmyyyy) to 1975

                                               (e.g. 20121976)

                                                            v.      To find out who your current trustee is, text:

      

                                               Policy number*trustee to 1975

                                               (e.g. GH1V0000141*trustee)

      

                                                          vi.      To find out your current contact numbers and address details are, txt:

                                                     Policy number*contact to 1975

                                               (e.g. GH1V0000141*contact)

                                                              vii.      To find out your current source of premium payments, text:

    

              Policy number*contact to 1975

              (e.g.GH1V0000141*source)      

CAUTION:

Your phone number is used as key for the availability of your information (i.e. your phone number must be the same as the one you provided us for your policy and must tally with the policy number before the information is made available to you)
